Caroline Nguyen, PA-C, MSPAS earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Finance at Cal State Long Beach before realizing her deep passion for medicine. After working for several years in Radiology at Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center, she left to pursue her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies at Hofstra University in New York. After completing her education and training at Hofstra University, she began her career as a Physician Assistant in Primary Care. She eventually moved on to the field of Urology and practiced at a community urology clinic in Santa Ana for several years. There she was trained and gained experience in treating urological conditions such as BPH, testosterone replacement therapy, overactive bladder, urinary incontinence, female pelvic organ prolapse, gross hematuria, microscopic hematuria, prostate cancer, kidney stones, recurrent urinary tract infections, pelvic pain, erectile dysfunction, stress incontinence, interstitial cystitis, urinary retention, prostatitis, and neurogenic bladder.
She has training in Mona Lisa Laser treatments, BioTe bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, penile injections, and prostate biopsies. She then moved on to the Urology Department at UCI Medical Center. She works under the supervision of Dr. David Lee. She has extensively trained with Dr. Lee in the treatment of prostate cancer and management of elevated PSAs. She is trained in first assisting in robotic prostatectomies. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
